Robert Callaghan ‘89

Robert Joseph Callaghan, 52, passed away Monday, Feb. 5. He is survived by his parents, Thomas and Jane Callaghan; his sister, Kimberly Gensicki (Edward); brothers, Thomas A. Callaghan and David (Deb) Callaghan; nieces, Ellen Gensicki (Bart), Meghan Osment (Phil), Bridget Callaghan, Amanda Callaghan; nephew, Philip Gensicki; and Erinne Callaghan.

Robert was a kind and gentle person. He made friends easily and always made people feel welcome. He attended The Ohio State University and was a talented graphic designer who also had a great eye for artistic creations. He loved to experiment with cooking, enjoyed golfing and was a Buckeyes fan. Growing up, he was a wrestler for St. Francis de Sales High School and as a young boy was a pitcher in little league baseball.

Robert’s family is especially grateful that upon his passing he was a tissue donor.
