Martin Hensel ‘75

A life remembered and never forgotten: Martin Xavier Hensel, born January 21, 1957, passed away December 2, 2024, at the age of 67 while on a job site. Marty is preceded in death by his parents, Mary Catherine and John Hensel, uncles, aunts and great niece, and survived by sister Peggy Neary (Jim), nephews, Brendan (Lexie), Conor Neary, and niece Meghan Neary, great nieces Evelyn and Gianna Neary, and sister Kathy Dearwester (Joe), nephews, Ryan (Niki) , and Shannon (Lauren), great niece, Mae. Marty was proprietor of Hensel Hardscapes, and was a lifelong resident of Columbus, Ohio. Marty’s dynamic presence, humor, generosity, and loyalty will be forever missed by many wonderful friends he considered family.
