Tina (Jaconette) Fann '67

Tina Marie (Jaconette) Fann, of Columbus, Ohio; born on February 14, 1949, passed away on November 9, 2024, at the age of 75 following a brief battle with cancer. Tina is preceded in death by her parents Thomas and Ida Jaconette, brothers, David and Jim Jaconette. Tina is survived by Ron Fann, her husband of 52 years. Her sons Rob Fann and Matt (Jess) Fann; brother, Mark (Debra) Jaconette; sisters, Barb (James) Forster, Mary Rykowski, Diane (Tom) Rosso and sister-in-law, Jennifer Jaconette. Tina has three grandchildren, Brandon, Avery, and Cami Fann. She also has numerous nieces and nephews as well as great nieces and nephews. Tina was a graduate of St. Francis DeSales High School, she went on to earn a bachelor’s degree in education from The Ohio State University. Tina loved children, she was a second grade teacher at St. John XXIII School, a teacher for Blendon Woods Montessori Academy and a teacher of speed reading at Advanced Reading Concepts. Her dedication to her own children led her to leave her teaching career to be an at home mom and homemaker. Tina had such love and admiration for her two boys, and would speak very highly of them, as they were her pride and joy. Tina was an active member of St. Michael Catholic Church for 44 years; she enjoyed helping her family to be a part of the church community. Tina loved all her family, friends and relatives so deeply. Tina loved to laugh, and she had a smile that would light up the room. Tina’s best joy was spending time playing games with her grandchildren, whom she loved so deeply. Her spirit lives on in the hearts of all who had the privilege of knowing her. Tina’s memory will forever be cherished, and her love will continue to inspire us all to live with kindness, compassion, and a deep appreciation for the simple joys in life. Her boundless love for her family and friends will continue to be a guiding light, even though she is no longer with us.
